In 2013 I received a grant from Country Arts WA and the Australian Government Regional Arts Fund to conduct a photography project focussing on the beautiufl landscape within the Stirling Range National Park in the Great Southern region of Western Australia.
This project was exhibited at the Vancouver Arts Centre in Albany on October 5-12, 2014, at Three Anchors Exhibition Centre at Middleton Beach in Albany in January 2015, and presently at Hybla Restaurant on Flinders Pde in Albany.
The aim of this project was to photograph the Stirling Ranges National Park and surroundings with an artistic, modern approach, and one that would connect me to the earth and my childhood day memories of exploration and fun in the area.
The project was sponsored by Country Arts WA and the Australian Government Regional Arts Fund, as well as Ilford (Perth Pro Lab). It was Auspiced by Creative Albany. Mentoring for this project provided by Tony Hewitt.
The photos are printed on premium quality fine-art Ilford paper, with a generous white border, signed & dated.
